Halt! Who Goes There? Real Road Racing Friend or Enemy?

Motorcycle Real Road Racing Blog by Barbiegirl Northern Ireland

Oh what a tangled web we allegedly weave, when first we practise to allegedly deceive! Sir Walter Scott, or the Motorcycle Union of Ireland (Ulster Centre) Limited, or was it that other guy who said it - my memory fails me on this fine cold early summer day.

Allegedly, as mentioned in a previous article - in order to be seen to be reacting appropriately to current circumstances, Richard Nesbitt had allegedly stood down from his positions within the MCUI-UC, and would allegedly play no further part in the running of the Motorcycle Union of Ireland (Ulster Centre) Limited - at least until all of the current trifling little local difficulties were sorted out.

The act of Richard Nesbitt allegedly standing down would, it was allegedly hoped, somewhat alleviate the situation in the eyes of the plaintiff or perhaps that should be plaintiffs, and therefore bring a halt to anything as annoying as the alleged pending court actions against several parties. As also previously mentioned, who am I to suggest whether or not the aforementioned allegations are true, but if proven to be true, they are surely the most disingenuous and brutally cynical allegations I've ever encountered.

If there was ever any truth within the aforementioned occurrences - perhaps the Motorcycle Union of Ireland (Ulster Centre) Limited would be kind enough to tell us which MCUI-UC Richard Nesbitt is still actively working for the technical committee - allegedly, and which MCUI-UC Richard Nesbitt is allegedly still a club delegate and sitting on many committees - surely not the MCUI-UC Richard Nesbitt who allegedly said in court: "I can't remember the man saying anything sensible other than nattering away in my ear. If someone is constantly coming at you it is easier just to ignore them"

Allegedly, Richard Nesbitt, and Ian Forsythe had 'resigned' - stepped temporarily aside until the little inconvenient difficulties had passed as ships in the night would do - allegedly to be reassigned to their rightful place of authority when those other allegedly awful people saw sense, and went away - after all, did they not know it could only have been described as a freak accident and a risk competitors accept in the pursuit of their chosen sport?

Keeping your friends close and your enemies closer may seem like something of an enigma to many, but in this instance, I rather suspect there are those within the Motorcycle Union of Ireland (Ulster Centre) Limited, who don't even know who their real friends are, never mind who the enemy within might be.

"Watch out! He's behind you! Yes! That's him there - the guy with the straw bales!
